  Dropped by earlier today ,to appreciate the building and was surprised at the warm feel , great decor , friendly prompt service and great out door dining area. Food was superb, given local knowledge of the meats that we consumed ( very happily ) an experience I look forward to having again one night with fire cranking . Special thanks to Matt and Cameron for going above and beyond. Steve

  Caught train to and from Tamworth for lunch. Courtesy bus operates on weekends, which saves a long walk to and from the station; much appreciated. Prompt service, which meant we fitted in three courses. Food was absolutely delicious; although the scallops were not the best we've had. The wait staff were all very attentive without hovering or being in your face. Prices are getting up; but for a special occasion it is not excessive. Not sure if there is a cheaper option if you just want a pub meal or something a little less casual. Ambience is lovely. Would recommend.

  High quality food in a remote location. Great venue with leather lounge and fireplace. Good menu choices. Daughter had the steak, could have been better. Nice to dine and have plenty of space around you, not sitting with people at the next table, so to speak.

  Absolutely stunning place to not only stay at. The steaks were sensational. The service for both breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Can't fault it and so looking forward to a return stay.YUMMO ❤
